The DFS RT270R is a lightweight rim brake hubset specifically designed for carbon spoke wheel builds.

Using a high-strength AL6061-T6 hub body with an AL7075-T6 axle, the RT270R is engineered to provide an excellent balance of low weight, stiffness, and reliability.

With a 16H front / 24H rear configuration and a total hubset weight of approximately 271g, the RT270R provides a lightweight foundation for high-performance road wheelsets.

The RT270R is specifically designed to work with carbon spokes.

02 — LIGHTWEIGHT 271G HUBSET

Weight reduction starts at the hub.

The RT270R uses a lightweight AL6061-T6 hub body combined with a high-strength AL7075-T6 axle.

03 — HIGH-STRENGTH AL7075-T6 AXLE

The axle uses AL7075-T6 aluminum alloy, providing a high strength-to-weight ratio while keeping unnecessary mass under control.

Combined with the AL6061-T6 hub body, the RT270R achieves a lightweight construction without relying on excessive material.

04 — 36T STEEL RATCHET SYSTEM

The RT270R is equipped with a 36T ratchet system for quick and direct engagement.

The system uses NBK steel bearings, selected for smooth operation and durability.

05 — SEALED BEARING SYSTEM
